- Our mission: HRCG is committed to providing the Hampton Roads community with an opportunity for individuals and families to become more self- reliant and aware of the importance of good nutrition and sustainable lifestyle practices through the provision of communal gardening and composting, a food- share program, and youth educational activities. HRGC believes that self-reliance and education will help individuals and families achieve stability and improve the well- being of the community.
